Although the Mustang football team didn’t have the desired results they were hoping for last week, ending with a loss at Marshfield of 41-7, there are high expectations that the Mustangs are going to take great advantage of playing at home this Friday against Logan Rogersville.

The team showed great skill in very key areas, such as Senior, Oakley Roessler, rushing over 200 yards and Senior, Joseph Brown, not far behind. Small mistakes are what took the Mustangs down last week, preventing the ball from reaching the end zone more than one time.

It’s all about the mind game on the field, once the boys are able to take the mental steps, the rest should work itself out. Of course, the mentality could greatly improve with a whole band of supporters filling the stands, so bring the whole County with you on Friday night, because there is nothing like a Mustang home game.

If you’re looking for fun that moves past the game, consider Fifth Quarter sponsored by Iron Works Church, or the High school dance hosted at MCHS!
